Stony Creek runs through the center surrounded by a natural feeling park planted with many indigenous trees and plants as part of an ongoing recovery from the park's days as a blue stone quarry.

Friend's of Cruickshank Park are a conduit between the community, Maribyrnong Council and Melbourne Water helping to arrange events, activities, community plantings, education and infrastructure.

We acknowledge the Traditional Owners of the land, the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung and Bunurong  peoples of the Kulin Nation and pay our respect to their Elders, past, present and emerging
